All customers registering onto the app must be 18 plus. If a customer is under 18, a guardian representing the underage customer must sign up for the person. Sport and location will be chosen by the customer while registering, however both of these will be changeable at the customers convenience at any time. MyPro highly recommends enabling notifications so as to receive updates on lesson schedules, cancellations or any other messages that come through the app.
MyPro offers three different subscription plans, a monthly plan, a trimesterly plan, and a yearly plan which are displayed during signup and on the customer panel on the MyPro website. You will also have the option to sign up for a one week free trial with full access to the App to see if MyPro is for you.
You will be able to cancel your subscription easily and conveniently in the App, up to thirty days before your subscription gets auto renewed.
MyPro uses the payment gateway Total Apps to securely and quickly collect subscriptions and transfer the lesson cost conveniently to the athlete unless you chose to pay cash. The payment gateway charges 3.49% plus 25 cents per transaction. For every subscription payment, the transaction fee is only charged once. When paying for a lesson, an extra transaction fee of .75 cents fee is charged as it involves two transactions (Customer to MyPro, MyPro to the athlete).
On your home calendar you can find different dots that represent the following:
Blue dot: scheduled lesson with an athlete: If you click on it, details of the lesson will be displayed as well as further options such as cancelling the lesson or messaging options.
Yellow dot: The athlete has countered your lesson request with a different amount of money. You will have to take action by clicking on the dot or opening your message portal to accept, deny or counter their offer.
By clicking on “book lesson”, a window shows up where you can either pick a blue shaded timeslot (slot with available athletes in your area) or you search for a specific athlete or university you want to take lessons from.
While setting up an athlete's profile, the athlete will have the ability to set up a cost of lesson in the profile bio which can be viewed by customers. However, this price is the average price expected or charged and not a fixed price. This can be negotiable in the chat window while a customer is in the process of booking a lesson.
Your first request is an offer that can be accepted, countered or declined by the athlete. (Wait for response and act afterwards). You will also have the ability to chat with the athlete to discuss terms such as location. Once the athlete reacts to your offer you will get notified (if notifications are enabled). If the athlete accepted your offer, the lesson is confirmed. If the athlete counters your offer, you have to accept, counter or decline, or chat if you have further questions or concerns. If the athlete declines the lesson,the request lesson process is terminated but you can still chat about future lessons.

MyPro suggests that every 30 minutes slot is to be paid to the athlete. For example, if you booked a lesson for 90 minutes and it starts to rain after 35 minutes, 60 minutes of the lesson are owed. If both parties agree, you will have the ability to reschedule the part of the lesson that got rained out. IMPORTANT: You need to report the abortion of the lesson right away, so only the timeslots that have been served get reimbursed. In case you opted for cash payments, it is up to the athlete and the customer to communicate and reimburse the correct amount without the help of MyPro.
In the case of a no show by the athlete it is the customers responsibility to access the app and cancel through the option provided in the application. Each 30 minute slot gets charged at the end of this 30 minute time period. If the customer fails to cancel or reschedule lesson on time then this charge will be applied to the customer and may not be refunded unless dealt with directly with the athlete
You will have the opportunity to use the automated payment gateway to conveniently pay for lessons. You also have the option to pay the athlete cash (if the athlete accepts cash as a payment mode).
If anything in the process of booking the lesson, during the lesson, or after the lesson was against MyPro's code of conduct or the law, please report the customer as soon as possible so MyPro can take the appropriate steps.

All athletes that register must be of 18 years or older. The app provides the ability to change your current location or your location in which you would like to search for lessons. While signing up the athlete will be verified by MyPro through a screening process that will confirm your details that are put in during registration. If this information changes such as a transfer to a different university, then this verification process will occur again. The sport you choose will be the sport you compete in and this will be verified as well through MyPro. MyPro would highly recommend turning notifications on so as to allow for easy access and coordination with any new messages or updates in the app
MyPro uses a payment gateway that uses an ACH transfer to transfer your money from the customer directly into your bank account, unless both parties agree to reimburse the lesson in cash.
IMPORTANT: Always fill in your availability in advance so customers can schedule lessons with you. You will not get any requests unless you fill in your availability.
Each month, two free cancellations will be allowed for an athlete in case of emergency. Keep in mind this may also affect your ratings. If you go over the two free cancellations MyPro will charge you a penalty that will cover the overhead cost of cancelling a lesson.
If a lesson is requested you get a notification (granted you turned on notifications in your settings). Click on it to open the chat with a customer. Now you will have to accept, counter or decline the customer's offer.
Both people have to accept the payment method (payment gateway or cash). MyPro recommends using our payment gateway to have a record of payment in case of controversy.
